Tickets on Sale Now for Women’s Philanthropy Board’s 20th Annual Spring Symposium March 27

The Women’s Philanthropy Board’s (WPB) 20th Annual Spring Symposium and Luncheon will feature acclaimed historian and Pulitzer-Prize winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin. Goodwin will serve as the keynote speaker during the luncheon which will be held at noon on Monday, March 27 at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with a networking coffee and a WPB Corporate and Business Partner showcase followed by the start of the symposium at 10 a.m. The symposium will kickoff with a presentation by Jacquelyne Cavanaugh, a portfolio manager and an analyst in Putnam Investments Equity Research group. Cavanaugh, a frequent contributor on MSNBC and a graduate of Harvard Business School’s MBA program, is an expert in global investment banking, global brokerage and insurance, alternative asset management and managed care industries.

Jean Chatzky, a well-known personal financial expert and commentator on NBC’s “The Today Show,” will provide the symposium keynote presentation beginning at 11 a.m. Chatzky served as the featured speaker at WPB’s first Spring Symposium in 2003 and returns to Auburn to speak again about issues around women and financial wellness.

“This is a stellar line-up marking this 20th anniversary of the WPB Spring Symposium,” said Susan Hubbard, dean of the College of Human Sciences. “We all stand to gain invaluable advice and every person attending will be supporting the College of Human Sciences as a whole. We are very grateful for the support and engagement of the WPB over these past two decades.”
