I love snowboarding! (or at least I did until I moved to a state without snow). Nowadays I enjoy the warm weather through evening walks and biking.
If you could study any random thing other than HDFS/MFT, what would it be?
Creative Writing. I love stories and I hope to write a book someday.
What advice would you offer to someone thinking about graduate school?
Choose an advisor who you admire and want to become like: as a researcher and as a person. Also, be kind to yourself. Graduate school is a learning experience, so enjoy the journey! Setbacks, mistakes, and rejection are part of the journey. Practicing a growth mindset and self-compassion can help you stay motivated and feel peace even when graduate school becomes difficult.
