We are now accepting applications for our Fall 2025 graduate cohort. Thank you for considering Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) at Auburn University. Our program launches difference makers who use, generate, and advance science to better the lives of individuals and families in diverse contexts. The MS HDFS and PhD HDFS programs focus on the acquisition and discovery of science related to family interaction and development across the life course, while the Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) program and the Child Life (CL) program elevate intervention and direct services to families in need. This means that we train and launch scholars, clinicians, community leaders, family life educators, and policy specialists. We invite you to review the curricula of our different programs to see where you fit and reach out to the program directors listed below with questions.
Information Sessions. We invite you to join us for 1 of our virtual information sessions that will be hosted in November. Attendees will be in breakout rooms based on their programmatic interests (HDFS, MFT, CL) and have an opportunity to talk with the director and faculty from that program. Questions are welcomed during these sessions.
