Background Check And Digital Fingerprinting Instructions

BACKGROUND CHECK AND DIGITAL FINGERPRINTING INSTRUCTIONS

1. To complete your online background check go to: https://fieldprintalabama.com/individuals

Make an account if you don’t already have one and sign into the account. Complete all introductory information that is required, which is several pages. When you get to the “Fieldprint Code” box, Skip that box and Scroll down to “Do not have Code – Provide a Reason”

a. Choose “AL - Department of Human Resources - DHR Affiliated Agency” and click on that choice, then    

  1. Choose VOLUNTEER WORK for the Category, and
  2. Choose INTERNSHIP for the Fingerprint Reason.
  3. Then for DHR requesting agency, start to type Auburn University. An option will pop up that says AUBURN UNIVERSITY HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND FAMILY STUDIES. Choose that option.
b. Follow the permissions and agreements, checking the required boxes. You will then be asked to choose a Fieldprint location and search for a location near you.
   Choose your location and appointment time and make your payment, etc.

2. After you complete the online portion and make your appointment, you will receive an Appointment Confirmation message. Take the message with that Confirmation Number to the Auburn Cogent Station that you have chosen (below are some of the location possibilities):

AT:  Pak mail (in the Kroger Shopping Center)
    300 North Dean Road, Suite 5
    Auburn, Al 36830

OR:  Pak Mail (Ogletree shopping Center in Auburn)
      2415 Moores Mill Rd, Ste 265
      Auburn, AL 36830

Business hours vary by location, you will use your appointment time:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am-5:30pm
Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
