Overview
Through this program, students will travel to Ariccia, Italy,
and take up residence in the 8th-9th Century (BC) town.
During the two weeks program, students will meet with
faculty, researchers, and practitioners from the local area
and learn how science and family research are approached
in the Italian context.
Excursions to local historical and cultural sites will add to
the experience. Time will be allotted to two-day weekend
excursions at an additional cost which can include cooking
classes in Florence or trips to Naples, Pompeii, Vesuvius,
or Positano (Amalfi Coast). Students will also have the
option to make their own arrangements for weekend
excursions.
Graduate Students will take Global Perspectives on
Teaching and Research HUSC 6940 (3 credit hours).
Earn a certificate in Global Leaders of Tomorrow.
