My name is Mecca Hodge and I’m a senior graduating this December with a bachelor’s in apparel merchandising. I had the amazing opportunity to spend three months abroad in Ariccia, Italy with CHS’s Joseph S. Bruno program. I decided to study abroad because I felt that the cultural exposure would not only be beneficial to my future career, but also to my own personal growth. Riding on a boat for the first time and ordering meals entirely in Italian are just two of the numerous experiences that brought me out of my comfort zone. Doing so alongside my fellow peers made this experience even more rewarding.
